I am glad that you visited my blog today. A little about me? Well, I am a graduate of the University of Michigan (Go BLUE!) with degrees in Spanish Literature, Industrial & Operations Engineering, and Business Administration. I am a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love God, the Word of God, my wife and kids, books, learning foreign languages, traveling, and now expressing my thoughts via the blogosphere. You may not agree with everything I communicate here, but let’s agree to be agreeable regarding our disagreements! Thanks be to God that we live in a nation where we can express ourselves freely.
Have a blessed day, and MAKE IT COUNT!
I’m emailing from the Uncle Tom’s Cabin Historic Site in Dresden, Ontario, Canada. I saw the photo you have on your blog of Josiah Henson and was wondering if you have a high resolution copy of this photo that you could share with us. Alternatively, perhaps you could share with us where we could acquire the image. We would love to include it in our exhibits here at the site that is dedicated to Josiah Henson.
I got the image and the electronic version of Josiah Henson’s autobiography from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s website http://docsouth.unc.edu/neh/henson58/henson58.html … I do not think that the other images I have are of much higher resolution (these are family photos passed down through the years as we traced our heritage back to Josiah Henson… If I come across any others, I will pass them on to you.
Have a great day!
